Gripping and Comedic
Eye-Candy Actors, Sets and Vistas.
Volcanos explode, Ships explode.
Off the chart excellent production!

In this glorious bro-bromance the metaphor of "blood is thicker-er than water" is put to the test in the bestest of CGI layout, storyboard, productions, and narrative.
We got The Cain and Abel old wounds and bad blood churning and churning in the scorned backwaters, then the churning dynamics of many Archenemies,
some churning salty politic tussles in the deep water diplomatic, 
and churning black magic demonic power struggles 
..throw it up on the screen and you get this absolutely visually superior action writhing adventure film. 
Its a complete mind blowing blast.

Grand undersea realms, 
white icy tundra mansions, 
advance technological superships, 
supernatural blood curses and dark magic, tropical paradisiacal oasis, 
mutant flora and bugs, climate change, the living and the "living-dead"
--all get their "15 minutes" of fame. 
All the while,
The Aqua Royal bloodline is rocked.  
Cinematographer Don Burgess is the King. He delivers extraordinary on every single shot. The Cinematography is an entire story on its own.

Directed by James Wan. 
Wan knows his talent, his set, his sci-fi. With artisan flair and panache, 
He pumps up the glossy and punches out the action like a true colleseum champion.
The Screenplay by David Leslie and Johnson-McGoldrick is intriguing and intricate. The complex layers are filled with enjoyable comic book melodramatic comedy we love so much. The Story is fresh filled with the ideas by James Wan, David Leslie, Johnson-McGoldrick, Jason Momoa and Thomas Pa'a Sibbett. 
Good Evil and everything between, underneath, behind, above, below and hidden in them is explored and implodes in classy narrative.
